Notes from the terminal

Projects

Small tools I built because I needed them. Nothing here is a product.

logtail-lite

A tiny command-line tool that follows several log files at once and colours the lines by severity. About 300 lines of code, no dependencies.

clilogs Status: maintained

cronwatch

Wraps a scheduled job, records how long it took and whether it succeeded, and complains loudly when a run is missed.

opsshell Status: stable

queue-sketch

The table-based job queue from the post on job queues, extracted into a small reference implementation with tests.

backendsql Status: experimental

dotfiles

My shell, editor and terminal configuration, kept under version control and documented well enough that I can set up a new machine in under an hour.

config Status: always changing

A note on support

These are spare-time projects. I fix bugs when I can and review changes when I have the energy, but I make no promises about timing. If something is important to you, the code is small enough to fork.
